Field Watersheds

Description
There are 217 - 6th Field Watersheds in the study area.
We obtained the 6th field watershed layer from the MCWC
CD-ROM.
We added two fields to the layer that could be used to
group, and therefore summarize, 6th field watersheds:
Report Section (see above) 5th field watersheds
and Siuslaw National Forest watershed ID code.
Uses
We used the 6th field watersheds as
the fundamental unit of our analysis. That is, most other
data were summarized by 6th field watershed. In this way,
6th fields can be ranked and prioritized for additional
work.
Notes
There are several versions of a 6th
field watershed layer. We used the one provided to us on
the MidCoast CD-ROM.
