The Salmon River.

The Salmon River drains 77 square miles (1,392,765 acres).

It is 93% forest, of which 9.3% is BLM land. 17.3% is USFS land, 1.9% is State land, and 71.5% is private land.

The estuary is 204 acres at high tide.
